TECHCON Building Automation System

Techcon is an integrated building management system.  It is cost effective, flexible, reliable and scalable from a simple stand-alone controller to a large multiple stations network.  The Techcon system is capable of controlling 60,000 physical points when there are 250 numbers of Network Control Units connected to the network.

Techcon has a 3-tier system architecture.

The top layer is a management level.  The communication is based on TCP/IP connecting with workstations ,operating terminals and remote clients.

The middle layer is a control management level.  The communication protocol is using standard CANbus at physical layer and BACNET definitions at Data Link layer. The network operates at a speed of 38.4 kps.  Both communication router and network control unit are staying at this level.  The expanded network supports bus , star and tree topology by using an additional hub.

The bottom layer is a control device level.  All intelligent IO modules can be distributed to the SUBLAN network. The communication of SUBLAN is using standard CANbus.

Techview-iDCS is the software for daily operation, efficiently controls and analysis reports.

Techview-Sys is the software that managing the system network and database.

Techview-iNet is the software that providing local service and operation.

Techcon 509-MCU-CC is the network control unit that delivering integration, control solution and data routing.

Techcon 409-IOs are the control devices that connecting to equipment and running programmed control applications.
