The Micro/PX-2000 combines the most popular options
from the GEMicro/5 product family into an integrated and
self-contained accesscontrol and alarm monitoring panel. The Micro/PX-2000
is theeconomical choice when the Micro/5 configuration
flexibility is notrequired. The Micro/PX-2000 can co-exist in any
combination with Micro/5-PXs in both Secure Perfect® and Picture Perfect¿
systems. With Picture Perfect, the Micro/PX-2000 can be downstream from ahead-end
Micro/5-PXN.

The Micro/5-PXN is a user configurable microcontroller
for use withthe full line of GE access control and alarm
management software. The Micro/5-PXN provides distributed processing for
the interface ofaccess control readers, keypads, alarm inputs and
outputs back to ahost system computer. GE distributed processing allows
eachMicro/5-PXN microcontroller to operate independent of
the hostsystem computer with the majority of access control
and alarmmonitoring decisions made locally at the
microcontroller. TheMicro/5-PXN provides instant response for door control
and alarmsensing in the field, while leaving the host system
computer withmore processing power for quickly executing daily
operations such asalarm
response, database updates and reporting. |

GE 2RP and 2SRP (supervised) Reader Processors are the
interfacebetween a GE access control system, a badge reader and
the relateddoor control functions. They provide a flexible means
of expanding thereader
capacity of a Micro/5 microcontroller. The 2SRP provides supervision for the Digital Inputs.
The two sets ofSupervised Digital Inputs, one door contact, and one
request to exitper reader can easily be configured to work with 1.0K,
6.8K, or 18KOhm
1/4W, 5 percent end-of-line supervision resistors. |

The CASI CK8RP Cardkey Interface board provides the
abilityto link Cardkey badge readers to a CASI access controlsystem. The interface consists of two components: theSecure Terminal Interface (STI) and the Micro/5 CK8RP
readerprocessor. The CK8RP is compatible with Micro/5-PX andMicro/5-PXN microcontrollers. The CK8RP makes it possible to retain existing Cardkeybadge readers, badges, door hardware and wiring whilemigrating to a CASI access control and alarm
managementsystem. |

The Micro/5 20 DI (Digital Input), 16 DO (Digital
Output) and 16 DOR(Digital Output with Relays) option cards provide a
cost-effective andconvenient interface between the GE access control
system and itsinput and ouput devices.Micro/5
Options plug into the Micro/5 backplane. Each option
has
pluggable edge connectors which make field
installation andmaintenance
quick and easy. |

A
Power Supply and Battery Backup provides a microcontroller with continuous
operating power should AC power fail, allowing it to run schedules, store
history records and make access control decisions. Power supplies are
compatible with all Micro/5 series microcontrollers, including Micro5-PX
and Micro/5-PXN.

The
CASI Model 940 and 941 Proximity PerfectTM
readers
combine the convenience of proximity technology with flexibility of
operation. The readers are economical and easy to install, and provide a
full range of field-selectable operation modes. Both models include a
rugged, weather-resistant gray
or black ABS housings.

Model 1100 Parking Lot and Model 1081 Wall Mount Long
Read-Range readers extend the convenience of proximity “hands-free” reader
operation from the office to the parking lot. This allows the same CASI
ProxLite badge, including the new Entrée badge, or keytag to be used for
both parking lot and building access. The reader enclosures are
constructed of rugged, weatherproof polyurethane, providing years oflow
maintenance service. Model 1100 mounts to a standard 1-1/2 inch (38.1mm)
N.P.T. pipe; Model 1081 mounts direct to a non-metallic wall. Both models
communicate with the microcontroller using Wiegand (40 bit), F/2F or
Supervised F/2F communications. In supervised mode, the microcontroller
takes the reader offline if communication with the reader is
disrupted.
